I took a circuitous route to medicine after realizing it would provide me with an opportunity for lifelong learning, daily problem solving and using my knowledge and experience to help people find health. Osteopathic medicine checked all the boxes for this goal. My education at UNECOM taught me to consider the whole person in every encounter, to glean a patient’s goals for health and to try to follow their lead. I am happy to have the support of both an amazing team at Wiscasset Family Health and from my action packed family at home.
